INSTALL PYTHON
It is essential that you complete the activities in this booklet to prepare you for the 20 hour assessment that you will complete this year.
You must have Python installed on your home computer in order to complete this booklet, and the following information shows you how to do this:

When prompted, click on ‘Install now’ and wait for Python to be installed.
Once installed, look for Python in your list of programs. You will see a program called IDLE (Integrated DeveLopment Environment). Click on IDLE to open it.
To open up a new script for you to type in a Python program, you need to click on the File menu, then choose New Window (if you get a choice of version 3.6 or 3.7 just choose 3.6).
You will need to be organised so create a folder to store your Python homework from week to week.
